This is our PAPRIKA FREE formula for actively showing horses. Some shows will test for “Capsaicin” which is found in paprika. They test for this because it can be used to mask other substances so we have created a product that can be used during the show week to keep all ingredients in the body while illuminating the paprika so that you do not have to pull horses off entirely, as the effectiveness in our products come from consistent daily feeding.

We recommend using regular formula year round, then 7 days prior to the show switch them over to Show Formula, right after the show get them back onto the Regular Formula as it is slightly more powerful. Horses that show regularly still have amazing benefits by staying on Show Formula year-round.

To determine exact amount you should feed your horse take into consideration:

Size of horse, time of year, location (for weather/heat), how bad of fader he or she is.
- Typically a good rule of thumb is high dose (2-4 scoops/day) mixed in with their grain starting around January through the end of summer, in the winter you can cut down to a lower dose (1-2 scoops/day)
- For Minis horses, cut the dose in half to about 1 scoop/day.

How soon will it work? All our Coat Enhancers begin working immediately on the hair in the formation stage under the skin. Your existing, visible hairs will still bleach out and fade and dull as always, but be patient because slowly, naturally, healthily those glorious new silky, shiny rich hairs will start to appear. Typically this process takes between 2-7 weeks. This will appear first in the legs and face, then over the rest of the body. For this reason we suggest first time product users start with a 7lb bucket to insure the product is in the system long enough for the new enhanced hair growth to show through. The longer they are on a coat enhancer, the better the coats will become and the better they will stay year round.
